Just Wondering

Have you ever felt like emptying your child's dresser and just leaving them with one outfit? In the evening putting in a pair of pj's then in the mornings putting in another outfit? Would that solve my problems of straightening out drawers and picking up clean clothes from the floor? Would it keep my almost 3 year old from changing outfits several times a day? Would I have to hide the dress up clothes too?

not a bad idea.

I like the idea of going through their clothing and finding 6 or so outfits, then chucking the rest.

it would almost be easier to just hire a nanny, don'tcha think? :)

oooh a nanny. That sounds great. Or maybe a housekeeper and a nanny. Oh, and a cook.

Luckily (at least in some ways), our kids' room is very small so there is only room for their 2 beds and a bookshelf. The only place for their dresser is in their closet, which I can lock with one of those kiddie locks on those days when I can't take another wardrobe change!

But a housekeeper doesn't sound half bad.

I have stopped folding my daughter's clothes. Seriously. I just put them in her drawers because she disassembles them immediately. I have gotten over wanting to get rid of them. What I am tired of is trying to constantly sort through their closets to update clothes that fit. It's a neverending battle!
