Just How Do I Explain This?
I have been called to serve on Jury Duty. During our marriage, Rick has served 3 times. This is my first time. My kids have had a hard time trying to make sense of what I will be doing. Abby asked what I was on trail for, then asked if I was a witness. Today I heard that Michelle told her friends I had to go to prison. Wonder if they'll still let me be in the PTA.

That's too funny Heather!!! I'm the same way, Ryan has served a few times and me none (but I have been called, but it's always right after I moved out of the county or state OR I've been nursing!) I hope I didn't just jinx myself by giving out this info! :)

So have you been chosen to be on the jury or are they not to that point yet?
I sent an email to Michelle's teacher, explaining that I wasn't in trouble. She thought it was hilarious. Last night we saw another teacher, he said he was surprised to see me since I was supposed to be in prison. Apparantly this story is making it around all the teachers at our school. :)
Erin, I have to call each weekend to see if my number has been chosen. If it is picked I go down to be questioned by both lawyers and the judge.
Heather, this is hilarious! Kyle will get a kick out of this too! I've never done jury duty, but I'm sure my time will come. :0)
