For Christmas Abby was given a digital camera. She has wanted one FOREVER! Yesterday we went in to Portland to spend some of our Christmas money. Our first stop was the Portland Temple. While I was in the Distribution Center the kids and Grammy K. walked around. Abby took all of these beautiful pictures. My New Year's Resolution is to visit here more often.

What fun photos! Our temple just closde for some renovations. It will not open for a bout a year and a half. Last Friday, we tried to go one last time before it closed, but the power went out all over the island just before we arrived at the temple.
Our power came back on Saturday morning, so we headed back to the temple, but the lights were still out at the temple and they were only allowing those going through for their own endowments to go in. So we went out to breakfast!
Maybe we'll be able to go to the temple on the Big Island some time this year.
